Enter 與enter into 的分別

Enter(及物動詞v.t.) 其後不接介詞

(1) 表示進入某一具體東西：
Thetrainentered the tunnel . 火車進入隧道。
He entered the room without making any noise. 他悄悄地進了房間。
The bullet entered his body. 子彈射入他的身體。

 

(2) 表示進入某一組織或某一機構時：
He entered the Hong Kong University last year. 他入了香港大學。
He entered the army. 他參軍了。

 

(3) 表示報名參加考試(比賽等)時：
All my colleagues entered the race. 他所有的同事都報名參加了比賽。
【也可說 enter for an examination。】

 

B. Enter(不及物動詞v.i.) 後通常接介詞 into：

(1) 表示開始做某事時：
He entered into politics at the age of 40.  他40歲時開始從政。

The two old men entered into a long debate. 兩位老人開始長時間辯論起來。

 

(2) 表示討論、研究或處理某問題時：
Let’s enter into the subject of environmental protection. 讓我們討論一下環保的問題吧。
Let’s enter into details. 讓我們討論細節。

 

(3) 表示領會或體會時：
He didn’t enter into her mood. 他體諒不了她的心情。
I could enter into your feelings at the loss of your daughter. 我能理解你失去女兒後的心情。

 

(4) 表示進入某種狀態時：
Then, the two countries entered into a state of war. 當時，兩個國家進入戰爭狀態。

 

(5) 表示進入某具體東西且強調深入其內時(若不強調則可不用)：
The arrow entered into his body. 箭射進了他的身體。
We entered into a stone forest. 我們進入了一片石林裡。
