When 用法
留意when有3大用法
1. if (假如/當) 的意思:
when 如有if的意思，可以以 ‘whenever / everytime that’取代啊!
e.g. when you heat ice, it turns to water
2. as / while (用來表示時間):
a. 一句有2個動作, 一長一短，較短的就用when作子句起首
長的動作用continuous形式，短的就用simple形式
e.g. John was having (continuous tense)dinner when the phone rang (simple tense)
b. 一句有2個動作 是接著出現的 when=as soon as (一…就)
第一個simple 形式，第二個simple 形式
e.g. When(As soon as) I saw you, I laughed. (一見你就笑)
c. 述講過去的一個時間所發生的事
第一個simple 形式，第二個simple 形式
e.g. my mother called(simple) me BB when i was(simple) a baby.
3. 何時 (題問用):
e.g. when did you return from your trip?
e.g. when did you go to skating yesterday?
